That tepid "mea culpa" (and two other versions) appeared in the last three months of 2025 on Davenport's Medium page, https://medium.com/@ripdavenport.  After 15 years of claiming to be a victim of cyberstalking and adamantly claiming that he had evidence that the "claims" were true (but never sharing it), Davenport NOW believes he has taken "full responsibility" by posting brief, self-pitying admissions hidden where no one that he defrauded would ever see.  To the best of my knowledge, Ripley never contacted ANY of the people he defrauded and apologized.

People did get hurt.  People did complain.
